Somatic Yoga

Somatic Yoga is the physical practice of a spiritual philosophy. Like modern philosophy, modern yoga practices are devoid of both the love & wisdom that make it a truly spiritual activity.

Traditionally, yoga is a Yogi’s journey through a path of personal enlightenment, to attain the mastery of the unity of the Soul-Self.

The six stages of attaining mastery of one’s destiny through a path of enlightenment are:

  1. Breathe
  2. Quiet the mind
  3. Alpha brain connection
  4. Ask
  5. Listen
  6. Hear (Being Enlightened)

Somatic Yoga addresses level one & two by attaining a quiet mind through conscious breathing, whilst focusing on muscle extension for flexibility. It is a physical pleasure used to overcome the distortions of painful thinking.
